Hello Nick! 25 May 18, Nick Andre wrote to Kai Richter: NA> I understand, but disconnecting a system, Oh, a misunderstanding. My fault, i answered to "cut out echomail feed". The problem at hand is not severely NA> disrupting the operation of the network, its a minor annoyance that NA> for the time being, can be ignored by hitting the "Next" key. Which time being? As far as i understood you have no idea how long this issue will be active, because there is no feedback from the sysop. I would agree if the status is work in progress, i.e. sysop is back on monday. NA> notified of this problem, within the last 24 hours, and the NA> suggestion was to cut the feed. Sorry, I am NOT dropping a system NA> until I have sufficient reasonable time to work it out with him. I would agree, but as i said above, i don't see any work out yet. NA> I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm sure I'm "off-topic" and NA> this can and will be dealt with by Netmail. Cause and effect. You can have some annoyed echomail users, offtopic echomals and inbound netmails, or you can have one sysop and maybe his downlinks missing a few days some mails in the LINUX echo. Being *C is always annoying, the question is, how many do you want to annoy? Regards Kai --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.4.7 * Origin: Monobox (2:240/77) |
