Hey Benny!

 BP> there is 8K aswell

I've heard of 8k except last time I checked very little to none supported it.
I looked but couldn't find anything that claims to support or even acknowledge
the existance of 6k. 4k seems to be the way to go these days if even that.
From what I've seen in the way of supported graphics, HD seems to be the most
common. That is what I have working given the monitor and the graphics chip I
am currently using (AST2400).

BP> if links and lynx support javascripts

Neither supports it. links used to way back when but it required the JDK
linbrairies and --enable-graphics to 'work'. Beats me if it did work back then
as I never bothered with installing JDK as I had zero need or use for it. I
did have an --enable-graphics links working on the console back then but
ditched it as I didn't like the gpm and/or xorg dependency the graphics ability
requires. I do prefer the text version of links for browsing and lynx for
text dumps of html documents, which is why I have both handy.

BP> links & lynx have javascript use flags is removed in gentoo

No need to anymore. I don't believe there was ever a javascript enabled
version of lynx. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Life is good,
Maurice

... Don't cry for me I have vi.
