I've never used rexserv.exe in the 10+ years I've used IREX I use
REXW.exe. Are you running rexw in daemon mode? Read the Requirements
below. When I tried running Rexserv it doesn't do anything here.

Are you referrring to FTP,BinkP,POP3,SMTP servers as server mode??

Starting with version 2.00 of Internet Rex, running Rex in daemon mode
allows you the option of running built-in servers, also known as
daemons. You can use these to provide services to people using your
machine. The FTP server can be used for sharing files on the internet
or accepting FTP uploads from downlinks; the POP3, SMTP and finger
servers let you host your own internet email addresses; the BinkP server
lets you receive inbound BinkP connections; and the ident server lets
you provide verification for other internet programs (IRC clients, for
example).

Requirements
In order to run the various servers Rex includes, your setup will
require: A full time internet connection.
Rex must be running in daemon mode. Rex must be run in daemon mode to
ensure that it stays around long enough for the servers to be
accessible.

-> Hello fellow irex users...

-> I am running WinXP SP3 with Irex v2.31 for Windows & PCBoard v15.3.

-> Irex works just great when i run it manually or on the command line.

-> It errors out when i try and run it in server mode. Windows gives an
-> error message when booting up. Not able to load rexserve.exe.

-> Has anyone been able to get irex running in server mode on WinXP?

-> The manual says it's XP compatible. I do have rexserv.exe in the IREX
-> directory. It's also not registered.

-> Thanks in advance...
