MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: William's Ham Slaw Categories: Salads, Greens, Vegetables, Pork Yield: 6 Servings MMMMM--------------------------DRESSING------------------------------- 2 lg Eggs 2 tb Sugar 1/2 ts Salt 1/4 ts Ground black pepper 1/3 c Vinegar 1/3 c Water MMMMM----------------------------SLAW--------------------------------- 3 c Diced cooked ham 3 c Coarse chopped cabbage 1 md Carrot; thinly sliced 1/4 c Chopped bell pepper 1/4 c Chopped onion Cabbage or lettuce leaves; - (for serving) TO MAKE THE DRESSING: Beat eggs. Add sugar, salt, black pepper, vinegar and 1/3 cup water. Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens slightly, about 2 to 3 minutes. Chill. TO PREPARE THE SLAW: Combine ham, cabbage, carrot, green pepper and onion. Add dressing and toss together lightly. Serve in lettuce or cabbage-lined salad bowl.
