MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Za'atar Categories: Five, Herbs, Spices Yield: 1 /4 cup 1 tb Chopped fresh oregano 1 tb Sumac 1 tb Ground cumin 1 tb Sesame seeds 1 ts (ea) kosher salt & fresh - ground black pepper Combine first four ingredients. Stir in salt and pepper. DO AHEAD: Can be made 2 weeks ahead. Store airtight at room temperature. You can find sumac at Middle Eastern markets, specialty foods stores, and wholespice.com.
