MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: St. Bede's Easy Lemon Flan Categories: Five, Desserts, Citrus, Dairy, Breads Yield: 6 servings MMMMM--------------------------FILLING------------------------------- 3 Lemons 405 g (14 oz) can condensed milk 284 ml (9 1/2 oz) double cream MMMMM-------------------------FLAN CASE------------------------------ 75 g (2 tb) butter 10 Digestive biscuits Melt the butter in a small pan. Menwhile put the digestive biscuits in a plastic bag and crush to crumbs with a rolling pin. Remove the butter from the heat, add the biscuits and mix.. Press into a 20cm diameter flan dish and chill in the ice box until firm. Grate or thinly peel some of the zest from the lemons and set aside to use a decoration. Juice the lemons. Put the condensed milk, cream and lemon juice into a bowl and whisk lightly until thick and holding soft peaks. Pour into the chilled flan case and refrigerate for at least four hours.
