MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Marillenkuchen Martha Categories: Cakes, Desserts, Fruits Yield: 9 Servings 4 lg Eggs 280 g Sugar 1 Env vanilla sugar 125 ml Oil; tasteless 125 ml Drinking water 280 g Plain, whole wheat or - buckwheat flour 2 ts Baking soda 500 g Apricots; or rhubarb, or - plum, or apple pieces Process the ingredients at room temperature! Beat eggs with sugar until foamy. Stir in room-warm oil. Blend the flour mixed with baking powder alternately with the water into the foam mass briefly, but without lumps - and the dough is ready! Pour dough in prepared form (cake pan or baking sheet, which may have been provided with baking paper) and top with the fruit. Bake at 350+#F/175+#C. TIPS: Sprinkle with almonds or pecans before baking. Add half a teaspoon of freshly ground cardamom to the flour or grind the granules. This recipe is also great for apples, plums or rhubarb!
