MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Anita's Chilli Categories: Vegetables, Herbs, Beans Yield: 4 servings 2 tb Olive oil 1 Red chile; chopped 2 cl Garlic; minced 2 ts Chilli spice mix 1 ts Ground cumin 1/2 ts Garlic salt 1 ts Dried oregano 1 ts Corn flour 30 oz (2 cans) tomato sauce 30 oz (2 cans) red kidney beans 15 oz Can shoe peg corn 2 tb Tomato paste Salt & pepper Sour cream (opt) Shredded Cheddar cheese - (opt) Minced onion (opt) Hot sauce (opt) In a large pot or Dutch oven add olive oil and heat on medium. Add onions, pepper, garlic, all the spices, oregano and corn flour. Cook for 10-15 minutes until onions and peppers are soft. Drain and rinse the beans, add to cooked mixture along with tomato sauce and corn. Stir in tomato paste and adjust seasoning. Cook for 15-20 minutes for everything to come together.
