MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: St. Swithin's Day Apple Cake Categories: Cakes, Fruits Yield: 9 Servings 2 lb Tart apples; peeled, cored, - sliced 2 c Flour +=MIXED WITH=+ 4 tb Baking powder 4 lg Eggs 1 1/2 c Sugar 1 c Oil Peel, core and slice apples. Heat oven to 350┬░F/175┬░C. Grease and lightly flour a 9" x 13" pan. In a large bowl, mix together 2 cups of flour with 4 teaspoons of baking powder. In another bowl, beat 4 eggs well. Stir in 1-1/2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of oil. Add to flour mixture and mix well. Toss the apples with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Fold apples into dough.
