MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Veronica's Buttery Beer Bread Categories: Breads, Beer Yield: 5 servings 3 c Flour 1 ts Salt 1 tb Baking powder 1/4 c Sugar 12 oz Beer 1/4 lb Butter; melted Set the oven @ 375+#F/190+#C. Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar, and stir it to combine. Stir in the beer--I started with a wooden spoon but then used my hands to mush it around. Spray a loaf pan with baking spray. Plop in the dough and push it into as even a shape as you can. It will be sticky--youC╟╓re forwarned. Melt the butter. Pour the melted butter all over the bread. Bake for 1 hour, and remove it from the oven. The bread should pop right out of the loaf pan thanks to the butter. Cool it on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes and dive in!
