MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Tempura Batter A La Albert Categories: Five, Breads Yield: 12 servings 1/2 c Cornstarch 1 1/2 c Flour 6 lg Eggs 3/4 c Cold water Mix all in a medium size bowl and beat with a whisk until well mixed with no lumps. Dip vegetable pieces in, drain ( I use a long kitchen fork for this). drop carefully into hot oil and cook until golden brown. Drain on brown paper bag and salt, if desired. Recipe can be easily halved. I have never used it for meat or fish, but it should work just fine, so long as the meat/fish is cut small (say, size of shrimp). Albert and his brother were my next-door neighbors for years, and excellent cooks! Beegee Adair RECIPE FROM: https://www.recipelink.com Uncle Dirty Dave's Archives MMMMM ... Applied at a gym but they said I wasn't fit for the job. --- MultiMail/Win32 v0.49 * Origin: Fido Since 1991 | QWK by Web | BBS.FIDOSYSOP.ORG (1:123/140) |
