MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Hedda's Apple Cobbler Categories: Pies, Desserts, Fruits Yield: 9 servings MMMMM--------------------------FILLING------------------------------- 5 c Peeled, cored, apples; - sliced very thin 1/2 c White sugar +=OR=+ 3/4 c Brown sugar 1 ts Cinnamon ds Nutmeg; opt 1 tb Lemon juice 1 ts Vanilla 2 tb Flour lg Handful raisins, dried - cranberries or cherries MMMMM--------------------------TOPPING------------------------------- 2/3 c Flour 1/2 c Sugar 1/4 c Butter; room temp Mix together sliced apples and lemon juice together. Blend sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla together. Toss raisins with flour. Mix all together and place in 9 inch pie plate or baking dish. Blend the topping and crumble over apple mixture. Bake @ 375 375┬░F/190┬░C. 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cover, then bake an additional 10 minutes or until apples are cooked thru. Let cool a bit and serve.
