Don't add any oil or butter. When almost cooked add the tomatoe puree and vegtable stock cubes with water. Now add the diced swede, fine diced cartot, diced green beans, half the red onion finely chopped and tiny florettes of brocoli. Now add the mixed herbs to taste Let this simmer til the swede and carrots are cooked through. You can now boil up potatoes ready to top your shepards pie. Once boiled drain and add back to the pan you boiled them in and then mash. Place your shepards pie mix in a large Pyrex Dish and then spoon the mash on top. Slice the other half of the onion into rings. Place those on top instead of cheese and grill or oven bake till golden and onions are nice and soft, make sure they are fine rings though or you could use fine sliced tomatoes RECIPE FROM: https://www.mydish.co.uk Uncle Dirty Dave's Archives MMMMM ...
