MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Oliver's Mediterranean Swirls
 Categories: Pastry, Vegetables, Cheese, Herbs
      Yield: 16 Servings

      1 Sheet pre-rolled puff
           - pastry
      3 cl Garlic
     50 g Sundried tomatoes
     50 g Black olives sliced
        sm Bunch fresh basil
           +=OR=+
      1 ts Dried basil
    125 g Feta cheese
      1 tb Olive oil
150 g Red Leicester or cheddar
           - cheese; grated
      1 lg Egg beaten

MMMMM-------------------------EQUIPMENT------------------------------
      1 Mini chopper
1 lg Baking tray lined w/grease
           - proof paper

  Set your oven @ 180+#C/360+#F.

Remove your puff pastry from the fridge to reach room temperature.

Put everything except the red Leicester cheese and puff
pastry into the mini chopper and bltz to a smooth paste.

Remove the blade and lightly stir in the red Leicester
  cheese.

Carefully roll out the puff pastry onto a flat surface
or chopping board. Spread the tomato mixture over the
pastry, you need to leave a gap along the bottom edge of
about 1cm. Brush this section with the beaten egg.

Starting from the top, gently roll the pastry towards
you until it is completely joined together. Like the
  picture below

Once it is joined together, carefully cut 1 cm discs off
the end and lay them onto the large baking tray. Brush
each swirl with the beaten egg.

Bake for 30 - 35 minutes until nice and golden brown.
Remove from oven and either allow to cool down, if you
can wait that long or serve immediately.
