DS> There is the ARRL Repeater Directory (desktop or pocket size edition DS> or smartphone app), but both cost a pretty penny. Had a local user say he swears by that book and buys it every year. I did some research and it's bascially the rfinder site printed out. I can buy the app for $12.99 and it comes with a one year subscription to the site, but it still suffers from having to be updated by SOMEBODY. I've also decided that people that already have repeater info don't NEED it so why would they take time to update an online database? I can get the local ones from local clubs, but I like to program in out of town repeaters for when I'm traveling... ... This tagline is donationware; send money to register it. --- MultiMail/Darwin v0.49 * Origin: Lean Angle BBS * Southaven MS * winserver.org (1:116/17) |
