Hello Jeff! 06 Jan 17 01:35, you wrote to all: JS> Any thoughts as to what might be causing this behavior? JS> If I try to load gedlnx without using the script. Nothing happens and JS> I am returned to the terminal command prompt. I don't use that script or anything to run... But the behavior you describe matches what happens when you don't have a golded.cfg created or if you do golded can't find it I use: ./golded @S A -C~/fido/golded/goldedMSG.cfg I compile using the standard make files included, sudo make, and then I move the created binaries to a ~/fido/golded/bin/ directory and run it from there. I create a BASH alias to run this, so all I do at the CLI is golded... and off it goes... Do you have a defined golded.cfg defined? Location? At a minimum this needs: USERNAME Rick Christian ADDRESS 1:135/377 AREADEF NETMAIL "Netmail" 0 Net Opus /home/xx/fido/netmail/ Also take not that if you use VERY WIDE terminals golded will CRASH seg fault and/or not run as well. A bug report offers a fix for that, at least for reading, which I've added to my versions, but the internal editor still seg faults on wide terminals. The screenfuls of warnings, while "techincally" not a problem for now.. portend to issues later when the "deprecated" methods used are removed from gcc. Rick ~... Ding Dong the Witch is DEAD!
