A good booklet to read during Great Lent is Eat God Or Die, available free in
PDF format on Holy Innocent Orthodox Church BBS.

Beginning with brief focuses on our purpose in life, human relations, and
similar matters, it turns to brief exploration of various early forms of
worship, then the Passover Supper / Seder, and what Christ did to change the
Seder - focusing on the four cups of wine of the Seder and the institution of
the Eucharist.

Brief presentations are made of the importance of Bethlehem as the place of the
birth of Jesus, and of the two instances of the multiplication of the loaves,
as well as secular support for the Resurrection.
