UPDATE II:
 
The Bose is fried as well. They don't make this model anymore so I doubt JCP&L
will go $3,000 for a new system (which is fine). I did find a used in very good
 condition for $795+shipping though. I'm pretty sure they'll go for that.
 
With that being said, the final total is just under $2,600. They got away
cheap.
