OS/2 has supported LFNs ""forever"" on its native side... on its DOS side,
no... the DOS side cannot see LFN files that the OS/2 side sees and works with
quite happily...


NOTE: my current makenl processing is done via 4DOS bat files so they are using
 the DOS makenl... i do have the OS/2 makenl of the same version here but have
not tried running it from 4OS2 cmd scripts yet... initially, those cmds would
be identical to the bats other than makenl's binary's filename (makenl.exe or
makenld.exe vs makenlp.exe)... i have 3.3.1 and 3.4.1 installed... it looks
like 3.4.1 is the one being used...
