Hello Michiel, WD>>>> We are nowhere near that Julian date. HD>>> You realy use Julian dates ? HD>>> We are at Gregorian dates for already many centuries. WD>> You really are stupid? Or you just want to look like it? MvdV> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_day I see, but I did not know that. I only knew about the Julian calendar and the Gregorian calandar as used sincs 1582. FidoNet was not alive during the Julian period. MvdV> We are now at Julain date 2458209.076389 I did never see that big figures in FidoNet NodeLists. Only the figures 001 until and inclusive 366 are used as a day number. The 366 only appears in leap years when 31st of december is a friday. I am displaying that 3 figure daynumber at my RISC OS task bar for years, inclusive the leading zero's. So I always know the daynumber from January the 1st. Even the (ISO) weeknumber is displayed for reference pruposes. MvdV> http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/JulianDate.... So now I can convert Gregorian days to the old Julian dates ;-). But I do not see an application for it. For the NodeList, one can simply count the days passed since january the first. You do not need that webhosted converting utility. > * Origin: Erdogan Molenaar (2:280/5555) There are more ;-(.
