$ Leslie Given was quoted saying . . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > -skuz.. looks good from my point of view. now wondering if the arch armv71 > will run on this mini TV for android RK3066 that i have, still in the > unopened box. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Although, if your up for tinkering, feel free to give it a shot. I think the only different is this cpu has 4 core where the RK3066 might have 2, i forgot it's been a while.. The main part is getting a good dist of linux install, right now i'm testing Arch, previous i ran Raspbian without issies so should be pretty good if you can get one working.. Although when the new Oblivion/2 XRM comes, it will have a bit more requirements on the compiler and package level.. Enthral is still pretty bare, but it's not really worked on much anymore.. just updating so i can get my pi2 ready for the new stuff eventually.. I still debate how much work and bug fixing i want to do to this old thing.. I wish i would have brought it futher before doing a complete rewrite.. but even now alot of the old (bad) code is causing issues and making me fix stuff to run on more recent distributions.. which i guess is a good thing too.. Anyhow don't mind my rambling.. good to see someone still out there listening on this area.. heh --- Enthral BBS v.700 (4.9.31-1-ARCH armv7l GNU/Linux) * Origin: haunting The chapel >>--> htc.zapto.org <--<< (1:154/140) |
