From: alexander koryagin <koryagin@newmail.ru> Hi all! In Russia, some tourists like to leave their signatures in places where they attended. For instance, a guy walks in an ancient monastery and writes on the wall "Vasya was here. 2013." Do some American tourists write anything like this? I wanted to translate an anecdote and wasn't sure that I would be understood correctly. A man told to his friend: "Yesterday I read some interesting signatures. 'Here was Vasya.' Here was Kolya.'" "Well, they are usual sigs, what's interesting in them?" "I've read them inside of my cupboard." By all! --- ifmail v.2.15dev5.4 * Origin: NPO RUSnet InterNetNews site (2:5020/400) |
