Hi All! In a story by Stephen Leacok, "How we kept Mother's Birthday" he writes: "It is especially in a big family like ours that such an idea takes hold. So we decided to have a special celebration of Mother's Day. We though it a fine idea. It made us all realize how much Mother had done for us for years, and all the efforts and sacrifice that she had made for our sake." Looking at "We thought it a fine idea," I thought that we can omit "to be" when we understand the sentence without it?" ;-) Bye, All!
