In a message on Thursday 11-01-16 Roger Nelson said to Holger Granholm: Hejsan = Howdy Roger, RN> No, I'm on US Fall (Central Daylight Time). We return to Central RN> Standard Time this coming Sunday. I wish it would stay that way all Yeah, I agree. We changed back to normal time (UTC+2) oct. 30th. People here call it wintertime, which is stupid. Calling the DST summertime may be ok, but it's a total waste of time and energy. Farmers cannot change the time for the cows that have to be milked, same time every morning, irrespective of what the hour hand on the clock says Lately my body has accepted the time change very well, but even three years ago it a week before my body had adapted the change. RN> Simple enough to find out. Click Start > Settings > System > scroll RN> down the left pane to About and click on it. I'll have to startup the laptop again to study that "left pane" I got, after the upgrade to 1607, I told you about yesterday. HG> IIRC the machine the GS had, was the Amiga 500. I may be wrong HG> however. RN> I believe that's the one we had demo'd. The RAM could be upgraded RN> to 9 MB, I think. One could still buy ne of those on Ebay. I didn't have the proper manual to read about all it's capabilities, but as I recall having seen in the AmigaDos manual, it seemed to be very similar to Unix, (that we call Linux), with commands like mount etc, for adding capabilities.
