DISCUSSION...A line of storms has intensified while tracking across the Spokane WA vicinity this evening. The most recent observation from SFF reported a 54 kt gust and GEG reported 53 kt. Steep low level lapse rates are still in place downstream of this line of storms across northeast WA into northern ID where temperatures in the 70s and 80s are still present. Furthermore, DCAPE values range from 1000-1300 J/kg across this region, indicating potential for continued strong downbursts. If the line of storms maintains current organization and intensity, expect isolated severe gust as the line shifts northeast at around 40-45 kt. ..Leitman.. 07/24/2019 ...Please see www.spc.noaa.gov for graphic product...
