-=> Quoting Joe Bruchis to Shawn Highfield <=- JB> I don't think those are his rules. Those have been the rules of JB> Fidonet since its inception. Do you really think the message I posted was so offensive? I said a beer was fucking good. Yes I admit it. I deserve to be hung. I promise I will have myself shot to not offend you anymore Joe. I do not accept a stupid rule like a curse should offend you. If it does I strongly suggest you read the bible and leave me alone to use my freedom of speech. JB> Well if you're interested in no rules try USENET. There you can use JB> whatever language you like. However, most FTN networks have similar JB> rules about language, inciting others, flaming etc. Only fidonet. I'm in 8 other networks and many many echo's in fidonet and the only ones I've ever recieved a message like the one our moderator sends me are in his echo's. Most people know the difference between a curse that is expressing joy from a cruel one. As an example if I said "Joe you are a fu**ing ***hole" that would be some thing I would expect a message from the pope Roger about. Thank you, for your wonderful and very thoughtful post Joe.
