As some of you know, we have frequent sightings of deer in our front and back yards. We very recently saw a pair of fawns, still spotted, just the other side of our fence in that wooded area. Never saw a mother deer though. And then yesterday, we spotted three bucks walking and grazing together -- each with a moderately full rack, three or four points per side. Both of those sightings are fairly rare. Usually it is a yearling sized deer and/or a more developed doe chomping on the grass and crabapples in our front lawn. Our neighbor is thinking of putting up a fence around her property. I think she hopes it will keep the deer from eating her plantings. I told them that we often see deer inside our fence.
