Hi Ruth, RH> > RH> Red Sox primarily, but a few Metsies near the New York border. RH> > RH> Generally the eastern part of the state are Sox fans and west RH> of the RH> > RH> River is Yankees. More or less. RH> > Connecticut doesn't have any teams of their own, I take it.... RH> None at all other than minor league and universities. Our only RH> professional team, the Whalers, upped sticks for South Carolina and RH> became the Hurricanes. Wrong Carolina--they're now in Raleigh, which, last time I looked, was in North Carolina. (G) This past season they played some games wearing the old green/white Whaler's uniforms. Don't know if it helped them or not but they made it thru to the conference round of the Stanley Cup play offs before being eliminated. Took out the 2018 Cup champions in the first round. --- Catch you later, Ruth rchaffly{at}earthlink{dot}net FIDO 1:396/45.28 ... Are you sure you really want to know that? --- PPoint 3.01 * Origin: Sew! That's My Point (1:396/45.28) |
