Hi Dale,

RH> Downside of living in an urban area, can't discharge firearms at the
RH> deer munching on your floweer bed. (G)

 DS> No laws against hitting them with a well aimed sling shot pellet:-}}

RH> That may surprise them but not do anything to reduce the population.

DS> It may well discourage that deer from coming back anytime soon -- but
DS> even so, another would take its place.

John Burroughs said that if you shot a wood chuck, 7 would come to its
funeral. Seems to be about the same with deer in an area there are no
natural preadators.

DS> We see them in our yard (both front and back) moderately often, but
 DS> not usually any bother.

DS> And rarely do we see any with horns. Not sure if the males have just
DS> not developed horns yet, or if it is only the does, fawns, and
DS> yearlings that come out of the deep woods this far.

Males would have a rack starting in late summer, into the fall. Not sure
just when they do drop it but it appears the females and young are
enjoying your feasts.

DS> Not sure how this might differ from other sorts of Asian dumplings.
DS> Michael might know. The sauce looks like something that would be good
 DS> with multiple things.

I wouldn't begin to hazard a guess; it's well out of my area of
expertise.

DS> What on earth is "snakaptz".

Some fancy made uup word for snack type food from what I could
interpret. OTOH, mandoo is straight forward Korean dumplings. The ones
I've had have been very good--have had from Korean friends and parents
of our daughter's friends.

 DS> Title: Mandoo (Korean Dumplings)
 DS> Categories: Snakaptz
 DS> Yield: 48 servings

Catch you later,
Ruth
