++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service   http://www.os2voice.org ++

From: roderickkleinDESPAM@DESPAMxs4all.nl

Over the last couple of years the board of OS/2VOICE has chosen to spend your
donations on projects that the board thinks provides the biggest benefit for
the OS/2 community.

VOICE is 100% transparent about its income and what the money is spent on.
Later this month we hope to publish in more detail what we have spent the money
on in 2016. We did the same in 2015.

You can find the financial report for 2016 on this page:
http://www.os2voice.org/reports.html

Currently we have about 10.000 Dollars in the bank.
Next year OS/2 VOICE will organize Warpstock Europe 2018 in the last week of
May in Berlin. In September of this year we will visit possible event
locations.

Warpstock brings developers together and users and continues to help keep OS/2
moving forward.

We have also provided sponsorship to Bitwise Works. But again open source
software does not make everything possible! The OS/2 community has a mixture of
people doing work on a volunteer basis and other people are paid. VOICE
sponsors some of these projects such as Bitwise works.

Please donate to VOICE so we can keep sponsoring these community projects!
