This is one reason why I make sure all my message base numbers are strictly static. Mystic can auto-add but it assigns a static number to every BBS Conference that the sysop can't change. Wildcat does assign a conference number and it usually is static, but there are third party utils that can sort the conferences which screw the QWK up. Synchro has the ability to assign a static or a dynamic if I remember correctly. RA is dependant on the door software you use. BW did not have a way to assign a static # but OLMS did. Every software that I have ran has the capability to assign a Static solution for the conference numbers. I know my USENET is a mess if you don't have the conference name sorting turned on as I do add groups with no rhyme or reason. I guess this is on topic because this has caused a lot of controversy in the past. :-) But I would not turn away a QWK reader under any circumstances.
