okay.. weird issue and looking for ideas/pointers on what might be happening or
where I could start looking.

I will logon to my BBS and will get a message that someone has sent me email.

Scanning all messages areas will not find or show this email.

Press E on the main menu to enter the Electronic Mail Menu and then choosing R
or U will only show me the message " You have no mail "

If I download a QWK packet, these emails will appear and I can read and reply
to them.  The area shown in the QWK reader as area # 0, and the forum name is
"E-mail"

Any ideas where I can look to figure out why the system is unable to show me
emails unless I donwload a QWK packet?
