Always answering Yes to display Unread messages only.

It did this time. sort of. When loggin in and performing the scan
automatically, I answered No to display subjects only, and your reply in the
FIDO-Net conference displayed the entire message. The same message in DOVE-Net
did not display.

So, I found that all interesting. Could it be the way I have DOVE-Net
conference configured, or is there some sort of duplicate thing happening here
that the system 'thinks' it has displayed this message to me, even though it is
in another conference?

Below is some output from now performing the manual S scan from the main menu,
keep in mind the FIDO-Net message has been displayed, but I have not 'read' the
same message in the DOVE-Net conference/Group. I am clipping all but a couple
conference are names before and after the group that has the message.

Then I do the scan again, this time answering No to display subjects only.

whoah.. I just notice that the area for "Synchronet Sysops Only" isn't even
showing in the listing when I scan and answer 'No' to the 'display subjects
only' prompt. I had not noticed that detail before.

I am now also curious at the different counts at the right side margin. Those
numbers appear to sometimes be different based on how I answer to scan, subject
only or not. When displaying subjects only, I also see the conference/group
number at the left column, but not when answering No to 'display subjects
only'. Just observations.

I only mentioned this topic in the event it is an issue you think needs
correcting.

thanks,

JH
