It's gotten worse, and it's happening to messages that are sent to me as well, now. When I first read the message, the header is fine. However, if I view the message list using DDMessageReader (M), the message is just a number with a blank line, and the header looks like the above image i posted. (just with the appropriate text). I managed to reply to one yesterday by entering the proper To: and Subject lines. https://i.imgur.com/fRirTOJ.png Here's the text output from chksmb on dove-general: CHKSMB v2.30-Linux (rev 1.67) SMBLIB 2.60 - Check Synchronet Message Base Checking /sbbs/data/subs/dove-general Headers 98% #7396 (51FA20) No Message-ID 99% #7428 (525220) No Message-ID 99% #7438 (526C20) No Message-ID 99% #7443 (527A20) No Message-ID 99% #7451 (529120) No Message-ID 99% #7460 (52AB20) No Message-ID 99% #7471 (52C920) No Message-ID 99% #7475 (52D520) No Message-ID 100% Checking /sbbs/data/subs/dove-general Index 100% Checking /sbbs/data/subs/dove-general Hashes 100% Status Total (=): 7476 Total Indexes (=): 7476 Active Indexes (=): 7476 Active Headers (=): 7476 Active Header Blocks ( ): 21207 5,428,992 bytes used Active Data Blocks ( ): 26175 6,700,800 bytes used Header Records ( ): 7476 Deleted Indexes ( ): 0 Deleted Headers ( ): 0 Deleted Header Blocks ( ): 12 3,072 bytes used Deleted Data Blocks ( ): 0 0 bytes used Oldest Message (import) ( ): 560 days (0 max) Largest Message (data) ( ): 22069 bytes (#5421) Missing Message-IDs (!): 8 /sbbs/data/subs/dove-general Message Base is OK Total Deleted Messages : 0 3,072 bytes used -=-=-=-=-=- The "Missing Message-IDs" line up with the number of messages that are missing header information, which makes sense. I really haven't had much time to look into it, I had considered just blowing the entire messagebase away and resetting my QWK account's pointers on VERT to re-import them, but it's not urgent. I'm happy to grab any data if you want to investigate. DaiTengu ...
