Fidonet help

So I am totally lost with Fidonet here.  I managed to get fsxNet up and running
with relative ease, but this Fidonet stuff is throwing me for a loop.  They
assigned me a node number, but that was about it.  Have no ideas where to pull
echoes from, nodelists, etc. anything.

Not even 100% sure how having Fidonet and fsxNet together won't clobber one
another (assuming the zones keep that all straighted out?)

Anyone out there willing to help understand where to go from here?

To be fair, back in the 80s and 90s this whole Fidonet thing was confusing as
well!
