It might be a better use of time to read over the Synchronet documentation.
Once you see your text.dat modifications working on your BBS, you're likely to
want to tweak and change it more to look just how you want. Trying to make a
lot of changes to your text.dat set up now before you can use it seems like it
would be somewhat of a waste of time. Also, there's a LOT more that goes into
customizing a Synchronet BBS than just modifying text.dat.
