FWIW: here's my (very similar to the wiki example) config in tickit.ini for the
 fidonet *daily* nodelist...

[DAILYLIST]
[...]
Handler=tickit/fidonet-nodelist_handler.js
HandlerArg={"domain":"fidonet", "match":"Z1DAILY.Z*", "nlmatch":"Z1DAILY.*"}
[...]

then in sbbsecho.ini there's this bit in the domains section...

[domain:fidonet]
        Zones = 1,2,3,4,5,6
        DNSSuffix = binkp.net
        NodeList = /sbbs/ftn/nodelist/fidonet.txt

the NodeList line contains the final name for the extracted nodelist file...
this is where and what nodelist_handler copies the file it extracted to...

note that i copied the original nodelist_handler.js to
fidonet-nodelist_handler.js because i have more than one FTN and need to do
this for all of them so each will have its own nodelist_handler...

the main reason i've copied nodelist_handler.js to other names is because i
need each one to also execute a different command line after the file is
successfully extracted and copied... this additional command line execution
capability does not yet exist but its purpose is to compile the nodelist into a
 binkd compatible form with another tool... in my case, this additional command
 line capability is to compile the nodelist into a binkd format so binkd is
automatically updated when the new nodelist arrives and is updated...

this may all change and the copying to other handler names may not be needed
if/when the original nodelist_handler.js comes up with an easy method of
defining this additional command line capability... i understand it is
currently being looked at and developed :)

/me waves to echicken ;)
