They could have been already living in the US or have work visas sponsored by the company. I've actually heard some debate about the company sponsoring a lot of H1B visas, whether true or not and whether people think that's a good thing or not.. It seems to me that at least some of them were already living here and went to college in the US. Perhaps at least some of them just immigrated to the US at some point, like anyone else from any other country. There was also an intern who was on our team a couple years ago, and I think one of her parents was from India, who moved to the US some time ago.
