Conference rules for the SWL echo: rev. 29 May 14 Posting Frequency: 1st of the month. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Any topic relevant to the hobby of shortwave listening is open for discussion in this echomail conference. Otherwise, rules are simple, and normal for Fidonet echomail conferences. They include the following: 1. Please use your real name, or something that might possibly be one. 2. English is the official language of this echomail conference. If English is not your native tongue we understand. do the best you can. 3. This conference shall not be gated outside of FIdonet without the permission of the moderator and echo participants. Junkmail coming from any authorized gateway must be curtailed or a feed cut will be requested. 4. Please limit high ascii to proper names, etc. Most systems should not have a problem with it, but just in case, please use these characters only for such purposes. 5. Any topic germane to shortwave listening is permitted. This includes antennas; equipment, logging software; tools and techniques, etc. The moderator also encourages participants to support the ham-fdn and its various file echoes by submitting files. Contact the fdn coordinator at Fidonet 1:3634/12 or ham-fdn@ftn.wpusa.dynip.com for more information. 6. Moderation issues *will* only be handled via netmail. If you wish to discuss such issues do not do so in the open echo. The moderator and any co-moderators will endeavor to communicate regarding a moderation issue with a poster via netmail only. 7. Sysops, please use whatever means are available to make these rules visible to users of your system the first time they enter the echo. Otherwise, play nice folks, have fun. Thanks for linking to the SWL echomail conference. Richard Webb : moderator emeritus Mark Lewis : moderator * Origin: (1:3634/12) |
