Hello There, >> I have a number of echos setup in Aftershock. But several were setup using >> the incorrect echo tag. I have looked for some documentation on Aftershock >> but haven't so far found any. How can the erroneous echos be removed >> without affecting the other functional echos? > The only thing you can do to fix this is go with a file manager on your > device, of connect your device to your PC, and then open the directory > com.asvcorp.aftershock then inside this directory go to files and then msg > there you will see (example) aftershock.sqd, aftershock.sqi, aftershock.sql > when you delete this ones you will remove the messages of the aftershock > echo and also the echo. I again made the same mistake with a newer version (1.6.4) of Aftershock adding an echo with a misspelled echotag. I tried deleting the message area from within Aftershock but was unable to delete it. I then manually deleted the .sqd, .sqi, and .sql files for that echo. But when Aftershock loads the echo still shows up and Aftershock generates an error "Unable to access message base: file too small" for that message area. Manually deleting the sql files for a particular message area worked fine with the earlier version of Aftershock. Jeff --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-3 * Origin: The OuijaBoard - Anoka, MN (1:282/1031) |
