Your statement confuses me.  How can you not be able to watch broadcast
television (news) but can watch cable news channels?

And there we will probably continue to disagree.  CNN often has pundits
from opposite sides of the political spectrum on the show at the same
time.  It does slant left, but at least attempts to allow views from the
right to be expressed.

What little I have watched of Fox News (e.g. Hannity) is only a little
step above talk radio in its slant.
