Some changes must have occurred in the description of fit for duty. Trump
would have had to fight in WWII, but by the 60s, the rules recognized people
suffering with pain in their feet can't stay focused on anything other than
the pain.

That's how it was for me. I worked as a security guard, standing guard, and
the pain in my heels was so bad that all I could think about was "How do I
make it look like I'm standing up, while removing the burden from my feet?"
So then I'd be leaning against walls, drifting away from camera view so I
could sit on the floor for a few minutes, etc. If I had to deal with an
enemy, my first instinct would be relief for my feet, 2nd instinct to stop
the enemy from killing me, 3rd instinct to worry about the others who depend
on me to stand guard.

That sounds pretty shady of Bush & Cheney. At least Trump had a medical
condition. Although I think I get your point. Presidents aren't what they
used to be. They used to be fighters, now they're draft-dodgers.

LL> I just wish po' folks had the same opportunity.

Poor people need to look on the bright side of things. They fought while
others hid, because they had no choice. Even now, poor people will die
sooner because they can't afford to protect themselves like the wealthy. But
I don't think the wealthy should cry about it, or pay for it, because their
amassing of wealth isn't the reason why others are poor.

LL> Now you know why everybody wants to come to America.

But don't we have the same problem here? Men get paid more than women doing
the same job. They should be warned before coming!
