Hello Tim, [..] TR> Sauer was lying. Sauer is a patriot! Volunteered for duty! Trump is a wimp! Avoided serving in Vietnam by getting six deferments, including one for bone spurs! We need more true American patriots to protect this country, such as can only be found in Wisconsin, rather than bone spur cadets! Ross Sauer for President! There is a difference between lying and misunderstanding. The guy was unable to get through basic training, for whatever reason(s). That is the reason for basic training. To weed out those who are unfit for combat (service in the military). If he fantasized about being a `weapon systems mechanic' then he was a `weapon systems mechanic'. At least in his own mind.
