Back in 1994 a bunch of the regulars of this echo had a spur-of-the-
moment weekend gathering in Springfield, IL, where three of the group 
lived.  About two dozen people showed up from the midwest and from 
Georgia to Philly on the east coast.  We had a very nice weekend and 
were able to meet the faces behind the names on the screen.  We did it 
again in 1995, and afterward it became an annual event hosted by Stan 
Hardegree in Villa Rica, GA.  The last one I attended was in 1999.
