MP> Trump seems to enjoy the idea of running against Biden or Beto, per an MP> article from an interview late in the week. Thank you! That gives me some clarity. With that being said, I think I can (barely) stomach a Biden presidency. Now knowing what I didn't 10 years ago, I can watch Joe Biden take office, hear some amazing empty promise, but this time NOT fall for it, and just wish for good luck with foreign policies, because we sure as hell will need it.. Thanks to some of the other people in this echo, I have a little more light on Beto too. I'm not totally clear on what his presidency would be like, but I think his unrealistic promises would be even more severe than those of Obama, and he could ultimately weaken the democrat party's reputation even harder than Obama has, thereby strengthening the GOP for the 2024 election. My conclusion then, is that Joe Biden will be a less harmful president than Beto, still having the potential for terrible economic decisions, but the lesser of two evils. If he wins, I'll be sure to inquire about my affordable health coverage, which was promised by one of his coworkers. And the one guy who has shown nothing but love for the United States since day 1 should have no trouble defeating either of these knuckleheads next year in the race for the white house. --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A39 2018/04/21 (Raspberry Pi/32) * Origin: Alcoholiday / Est. 1995 / alco.bbs.io (1:123/525) |
