What's the reason for that? Trying to save the environment or what?

Some liberal gimmicks can and should be negotiated with Republicans. If they
want carbon emissions cut, we can sign off on that, but only if they will
sign off on ending sanctuary cities, for example.

I'm in favor of nationwide marijuana legalization, but I'd tell the democrats
"Ok, we're all gonna get stoned, but in return, I want tougher penalties for
other drug offenses."

I know I'm not the first person to think this way, so why doesn't it happen?
They just won't budge on anything; instead, they get more creative with
ridiculousness, even talking about changing stuff around (supreme court,
electoral college) just so they can suppress conservative efforts.

Is he one of those types? It's really hard for me to try to love one of these
things! Tell me he saved a puppy or something?
