Replying to a message of Kurt Weiske to Sean Dennis: KW> Glad you were fortunate to get out with what injuries you did receive KW> -- there's a lot to be said for engineering safety these days. NHTSA KW> did a head-on crash test with a 2018 Chevy and a 1958 Chevy, and the KW> 1958 was frighteningly damaged. The front end of the 2018 was toast, KW> but the passenger compartment was mostly intact. Thankful for crumple zones; seat belts; and front, side, and curtain airbags. What saved my life.
