Years ago, a ladyfriend used to come over and make a delicious
lasagna for me.  Of course, I was happy to share.  Best lasagna
in the whole world.  A bandmate then insulted her, thinking to
make a joke about her making lasagna.

She pretended not to hear him, as it was not a very nice thing
to say.  Especially since her lasagna was the very best in the
whole wide world.

I put my arm around the neck of the bandmate, and asked him
if he really had intended to insult a lady who shot her husband,
in cold blood, in the back.  His jaw dropped, with his eyes
bigger than the moon, his entire face turning white as a ghost.

Biggest laugh me and Liz ever had.

After she had offed her husband, she was charged with first
degree murder.  Her godfather then hired a lawyer from NYC to
represent her.  She was found innocent of all charges.

Lesson to be learned - never insult a lady who is packing.
