The attending highway patrol (state) officer said he'd never seen an accident
in 40 years of being on the force where three people were not injured in such a
 bad accident.  There was a third car involved; the offending driver hit them
first then me.

It may be a while.  I am currently jobless due to the accident but because I
was on the clock, workers' comp is handling all of the medical issues and I am
making a little money to sustain me.
