Back in the '90s, I was involved in the cabling project on a building my
company built adjacent to a small airport. I spent a lot of time with a
hard hat talking to the contractors, the cabling guys, the architects, and
the head of operations for my company.

One corner of the building faced the runways, my first red flag was when
the company directors who had their pilots' licenses refused to sit on that
side of the building...  

I later found out that the building was built in the former "Oh, crikey, my
engine's gone out on takeoff!" designated ditch space.
